Whoa Time Flys

Well it's been like a month since I posted not very good when you want people to continue reading what you are posting.. Sorry everyone.

Things have gotten super hectic at home, the new baby is due July 17th, my first daughter Piper is walking, talking and generally being a little hellion, and I've started playing Wow again. I knew my stint in COH wouldn't last too long.

PVP is what I've been doing mostly as I can jump in do games for as long as I want and hop off the PC when I need to do things around the house. I suprised myself and got enough honor for my Helm yesterday on my mage. Which is a very big improvement.

More later time to get out of this place and head home

Something to Fry your brain, Courtesy of "The James"

So my friend James sends me these 2 over our interoffice communicator. My brain is too fried from walking the random dregs of society through connecting to their wireless homenetworking or informing them how bad of a idea it was to install our virus scan program on top of their Norton's Antivirus.

Enjoy

1) Consider a lamp, with a switch. Hit the switch once, it turns it on. Hit it again, it turns it off. Let us imagine there is a being with supernatural powers who likes to play with this lamp as follows. First, he turns it on. At the end of one minute, he turns it off. At the end of half a minute, he turns it on again. At the end of a quarter of a minute, he turns it off. In one eighth of a minute, he turns it on again. And so on, hitting the switch each time after waiting exactly one-half the time he waited before hitting it the last time. Applying the above discussion, it is easy to see that all these infinitely many time intervals add up to exactly two minutes.

QUESTION: At the end of two minutes, is the lamp on, or off?

2) basically, movement does not exist - You want to cross a room, say around 100 meters, in a finite time. To reach the 100 meter mark though, you must first reach the 50 meter mark, and to reach that , you must first reach 25 meters. Furthermore, you must reach 12.5 meters to reach half that. Since space if infinitely divisible, we can repeat these requirements forever. Thusly so, you have to reach an infinite number of midpoints in a finite time. This is impossible, so you can never reach your goal. In general anyone who wants to move from one point to another must meet these requirements, therefore motion is impossible, and what we perceive as motion is merely an illusion.

Also Someone is required to buy me this.... Do it now!

Datamancers newest PC mod, well an LCD screen really

All work and no play.

Well again I plan to work on getting my EPIC FLYING MOUNT RAR!! Things did not pan out how I wanted them to. Mom invited us over for dinner last night. I was like cool free food and I do not have to cook.

I end up cooking dinner for everyone, which since I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to doing anything takes until around 9:00pm. Which would have been fine, but staying until almost 10:00pm puts a bit of a cramp in what I had planned for the evening. Get home and instead of doing my dailies, I watch the new episode of House and then go to bed.

It's all good we had fun. I just wish there was more time during the day to get the things I need to do done.
